Narnia Themed Event
Theme Description
Welcome to an enchanted evening with magical sights and mystical acts.
Your first impressions of the venue will lead you to believe that you have walked into someone’s bedroom, with traditional furniture and old pictures adorning the walls.
In the corner of the room a door swings open, this is attached to a large wooden wardrobe. Step through this wardrobe and push your way through endless large fur coats until you emerge somewhere completely new.
The world you step out into couldn’t be more different from the bedroom. Covered in snow absolutely everything looks white and sparkly. Immediately in front of you looms a lone street lamp, throwing a pool of white light on the snow and the trees surrounding it. Fir trees glitter with tiny lights and snow covers the branches.
Make your way through the wood and in the distance you‘ll see the white witches sleigh. Azlan the lion can be seen turned to ice under her wicked spells. This was a beautiful and lush green land with mountains, lakes and trees everywhere, however since the white witch’s rule began, all is frozen. There has been no sun in Narnia for many years. You will be able to make out a frozen forest backdrop to the side. All of the water has stopped flowing too, on the opposite side of the stage stands a frozen fountain, and around the room swish tanks remain motionless with icicle gobos. Where water once flowed permanent icicles now hang.
Over the dance floor a stone trellis covered with icy fabric, small twinkle lights and climbing ivy stands, with a pillar in each corner and beams joining them together overhead. .
Then changes begin to happen… Where icy material was illuminated in blue, clever warm lighting will totally transform the atmosphere.
Around the room, the Swish Tanks will start to bubble and swirl around, and the frozen fountain on the stage will also start to thaw and eventually water will run through this and down to fill the bowl below.
Whilst all of this is going on, the disco will spring up with some classic old dance floor hits before progressing through to modern tunes for a modern day.
This is a time for celebration, so get onto that dance floor and celebrate the new world!
