1940's Wartime Themed Event
Theme Description
The air-raid sirens are screaming in the distance, you can hear the whistling and explosions of bombs all around. You are trying to get into the main bunker to protect yourself from the imminent attack from the Germans.
Guests make their way though the themed reinforced entrance made up of sandbags and stone wall panels. A sturdy metal door greets you with armed soldiers checking your identity before you enter. Once inside the bunker you feel a bit more protected. A fire has been lit inside an old oil drum to keep everybody warm.
Barrels,Tea Chests and sacks full of provisions are strewn all over the place to ensure people have everything they need. Bits of brick wall which have been used to line the bunker protrude out in various sections, and iron girders are strategically placed to support parts of the ceiling.
Motivational posters and propaganda are placed in various spots to keep spirits high, and reminding people why they are going through these hardships.
Union jack flags and bunting are in abundance triggering a sense of pride in people of the great country they are fighting for.
