Oriental Themed Event
Theme Description
On entering the party theme pre-dinner drinks area of the venue, guests will find themselves magically whisked off into the land of the rising sun.
As people make their way over a grand bamboo bridge with star carpet, oriental style trees stand nearby as guests approach. Moving through into the main room, they will pass under Chinese stone pillars adorned with twinkling lights and climbing vines and past bamboo screens. This will take them by the real working waterfall into a more traditionally oriental feeling room.
The sounds of crickets can be heard close by. palm trees with twinkle lights and uplighters can be seen in various points around the room. A pagoda style wishing well stands proud, water trickling from the bucket it is nurturing. A large 3D buddha with uplighters overlooks the party.
On the stage, a large red rising sun will silhouette a 2D Pagoda surrounded by oriental trees, and the rest of the room will be decorated with hand carved Chinese lanterns with red up lighting from below. The centrepieces of each table will be lavishly decorated with bamboo, bamboo baskets, floating candles and bird of paradise flowers, all displayed on 55cm round mirrors. The effect will be finished with bamboo flame burners on either side of the stage.
