Diamond Palace Themed Event
Theme Desciption
As guests prepare to go into dinner they will arrive at one of two entrances into the famous Kelly’s diamond mine. They must walk through the rustic wooden constructions created with sawn wood panels bound together with ropes and nails. Hessian strips hang over the doorway hiding what lies beyond. Signs displaying “Kelly’s Diamond Mine” ensure there is no mistaking where they are!
After passing through the hessian, guests must walk over the raised wooden plank flooring. They are surrounded by rugged rock face both to their sides and overhead. They will pass by the rock-faced waterfall with real water running into a crystal clear pool. On reaching the end, swish tanks stand either side displaying bubbling water through the glass etched with diamonds. A diamond mine cart stands on its rails laden with rocks and diamonds twinkling with lights.
On arrival into the mine, guests will be stunned by the beauty of this underground diamond palace. The far end of the room is adorned with Twinkling Starcloth whilst white gauze is draped in twists and flowing down the walls.
The black & white chequered dance floor sits over by the star cloth and mirror ball sculptures are located all around the room creating a sparkle effect over the ceiling and walls.
A range of 3 dimensional icicles enhanced with ultra violet lighting hang delicately whilst intelligent lighting projects moving diamonds around the room.
Tables will be dressed with black slips (over white cloths from the hotel). 50cm glass vases stand in the table centres. These are lit from below and filled with miniature diamonds. The centrepiece is standing on a 55cm round mirror which is scattered with glitter.
After the meal the disco will start the dancing for the evening however some guests may chose to return to the foyer for some light hearted fun gambling on the casino tables.
